What about the children? There are simply loads of things for the children to do, including visits to the Zoo at Pont Scorff, which is about 30 minute's drive - our grandchildren love it. It is on a huge site, and the animals are well cared for, in as natural surroundings as possible, in captivity.
Jack & Ella at the Zoo There is also the Aquarium at Vannes and the Butterfly House which all the children seem to enjoy. If they are bigger and more active children, there is the Adventure Park at Camors, which is about 20 minute's drive. They can climb trees (all harnessed and hard-hatted of course!) and slide down from the canopy on wire slides - suitable from about 7- 8 years to adults, because there are two courses, dependent on the height of the individual. No complaints from our guests except for the tiredness afterwards!
At Inzinzac-Lochrist there is part of the River Blavet which is diverted to make canoeing interesting - there are often competitions held here, but more often it is used by the holiday-makers who wish to canoe or learn to canoe.
There are also many places to go horse-riding
