Spoilt for Choice! Brittany is well known for its beautiful sandy beaches, sheltered coves, kilometers of sandy stretches, rock pools and wonderful small seaside towns with their interesting shops and restaurants.
Carnac, La Trinité-Sur-Mer, Gulf of Morbihan, Port Louis, Gavres, Guidel, Larmor Plage....just too many to name...however, this one is our personal favourite - it is never too crowded and has a gently shelving beach, but also has rock pools to explore when the tide is receding. It is at Men-Du which is between Carnac and Trinité-sur-Mer....
Beach at Men-Dhu We are only 20 minutes away from the nearest white sandy beach, with an even bigger range within 40 minutes: Port Louis, which has a citadel (armored castle) with an arms and maritime/naval museum. The Gulf of Morbihan (Little Sea) is awash with sandbanks and little green islands which appear as if by magic twice a day when the tide from the Atlantic Ocean recedes.
